Ed Sohn
Ed Sohn maintains an area of interest in justice ministry and missions. He is an alumni of the International Justice Mission, serving as a legal intern in 2004 in Chennai, India, fighting forced labor in debt slavery. Ed currently works with Justice Ventures International, a justice ministry that strengthens existing justice ventures, empowers the urban poor, and increases access to the legal system. In Atlanta, Ed is connected with FCS Urban Ministries, working with Metro Merge, a ministry that fosters neighboring between urban and suburban communities.
Ed has served in a number of leadership roles in both ethnic, multiethnic, and more traditional American churches across the country. He serves in a number of capacities at the Agape Ministry of the Korean Church of Atlanta UMC, (Duluth, GA), including the Planning committee, the Missions Chair, and bible study teacher. He is also connected with an emergent faith community that meets in Atlanta.
In his day job, Ed is a litigation associate at King & Spalding LLP. His practice includes government investigations in fraud, securities and consumer class actions, and complex commercial disputes. Ed received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2002.
